  Terry Lynn "Uncle" Larry - Terry's twin brother     Today we celebrated the life of Terry Lynn. She is my second cousin. She has been through A LOT in her life. Some of it she brought on herself (who doesn't), BUT she always had a positive outlook on life. She had a lot of health problems in the last several years, but I never heard her complain one time! She had her leg amputated but was still positive. She had two sons that she loved more than anything!      As I listened to people speak about her today and tell their memories of her it made me smile. Like I said she has been through a lot in her life, but she was a friend to everyone she met. The people who lived in her apartment complex spoke of how she was there for them. How she would laugh and cry with them. Of how they will miss her. She always remembered everyone's birthday, address, details of their lives. She didn't have a lot of material things in life. Life has been... well, life. I have been putting SO MUCH time and effort into trying to figure out how to make The Middlebrook Mercantile "be all it can be." It's mentally wearing me out if I'm being honest. I want that little store to thrive and be around for Charley to run one day, but I'll be honest with you, it's been a struggle here lately. January and February are always slow for us (and for everyone I'm being told) but these last 7 weeks have been a little bit of a challenge. I keep praying and telling myself that if we can get through the next 3 weeks it will pick back up like it always does. So that's where I'm at with that. We hired Karley Buchanan to help us 3 ...
