Do you ever see something happen and think "I wish I had my camera for that?" I often watch my kids do something and think, I hope I never forget these moments! It's like a snapshot with your mind. I got a camera for my 40th birthday and I go around with it around my neck taking random pictures of cows, kids, the farm, you name it I'm probably taking a picture of it. The problem is I can't figure out how to get the pictures from my camera to my computer. So I usually take the picture on my phone also. It's a pain sometimes.

These are some random snapshots from the last couple days around the Irvine household. Friday morning I went to get in my car to go to work and the tire pressure light immediately came on, so I had to drive the truck to work on Friday. That evening, my jack of all trades husband found the tiniest hole in my tire that he said had probably been slowly leaking and patched it. Noah of course had to help dad with the air hose. Snapshot.  Garrett & Colby have this "service truck" they have named it. It has an air compressor, generator and winch on the back. I laugh at it because it's just the most awkward looking truck. We have taken that thing to help Garrett's friend Jack pump up tractor tires in the field. I jokingly said I was going to charge him a $75 service call.

Charley holding Noah's hand to take him over to her tree swing 😍. It was definitely one of those moments that I never want to forget. Noah had had a rough day, so we were outside (where he loves to be) eating popsicles and cantaloupe. Charley asked him if he wanted to go swing, so over to the big tree they went where Garrett hung up her big round swing from Tractor Supply a few years ago. Occasionally, I will see her out there kicking off the tree to swing herself, singing or reading. Snapshot

And Drake mopping the floor. See I had already done this one time. He let the dog in and her muddy paws were all over the floor, so he had to mop it this time. He was saying something about mopping it like he was, but I can't remember what he called it. He will be 17 in August, we are raising him to be a man/husband/father one day. I want him to know that he can do things around the house too, it's not just a woman's job. So, when he let the dog in after I had just told him I mopped the floor. He had to mop it again - to my standards. He's going to be alright! Snapshot.

I hope you will stop and take snapshots of just random life. A picture really is worth a thousand words and memories! Funny how you can look at a picture and it will take you right back there. You can smell it and hear it. It can make you cry or laugh. Take the picture, BE IN THE PICTURE! You won't be sorry!  Snapshot.

Wishing you sunny skies and green pastures,

McKession
